Reasi, Nov 8: In a major breakthrough, Reasi Police today arrested a wanted absconder who had been evading arrest for the last two years.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Razak S/O Shahid Ali R/O Badsoo, Tehsil Dansal, Jammu, who was wanted in FIR No. 01/2024 U/S 307/188 IPC, 11 PCA Act & 3/5 PDPP Act.
The arrest was made by the alert police team of Police Post Kakryal, following sustained efforts and dedicated tracking to ensure that the accused was brought to justice.
Further investigation in the case is in progress.
The whole operation was conducted under the leadership of SHO Katra Insp Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the supervision of SDPO Katra Dr Bhishm Dubey, and SP Katra Vipan Chandran.
SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh reiterates that Reasi Police is continuously intensifying efforts to trace and arrest absconders, criminals on the run and other fugitives to maintain law and order and ensure speedy justice.
