Jammu, Nov 8: Today, Hon’ble MLA Bahu, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, inaugurated the lane (tile work) and drain construction in Ward No. 21, Gandhi Nagar. The much-awaited development work fulfills a long-pending demand of the local residents and will greatly improve sanitation and connectivity in the area.
The inauguration was held in the presence of JMC officials, the concerned contractor, and prominent locals.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Randhawa said, “Development of every lane and corner of Gandhi Nagar Constituency is my priority. I am committed to ensuring that people get better civic amenities and a clean, livable environment. Our vision is to make Gandhi Nagar one of the most developed and well-maintained constituencies of Jammu through collective efforts and public participation.”
He further mentioned that several other development projects are in progress across the constituency under the JMC and other departments to provide long-term relief to residents. MLA Randhawa assured that all pending works will be completed in a time-bound manner to make Gandhi Nagar a model constituency known for its cleanliness, infrastructure, and civic management.
