JAMMU, Nov 9: SSP Jammu Shri Joginder Singh,JKPS today on 09.11.2025 reviewed election preparedness/security arrangements for Nagrota Assembly Constituency bye -poll and held briefing of Police/CAPF nafri (to be deployed for the polls) at Distemper Police Lines, Jammu. He directed all officers to be careful while dealing with public during elections to avoid any unwanted scene.
He directed to ensure peaceful atmosphere in this crucial period of time of Nagrota Assembly bye-poll & have a proper security check at crucial spots of the district.He revealed that standard security measures have been undertaken to ensure safety, law and order during the upcoming Nagrota Assembly Constituency bye-election.
He directed nafri to familiarize with the local area and strengthen preparedness to handle any potential law and order situations during the electoral process.
He asked for the visible presence of deployed nafri as it acts as a deterrent to anti-social or disruptive elements while instilling confidence among the public and encouraging greater participation in the democratic process.
He emphasised on officers(Territorial officers-SP's,SDPO's,SHO's/Zonal officers/Sector officers and other incharges) that all personnel deployed under their command must be briefed on instructions and directed to visit polling stations, liaise with election staff,etc
