DODA, Nov 9: To promote spirit of patriotism and national pride, District Police Doda today organized a vibrant "Vande Mataram" event to commemorate 150 years of India's national song. The event, held at District Police Lines Doda, witnessed enthusiastic participation from police personnel and students who came together to sing the iconic song symbolizing unity, devotion and love for the nation.
The programme was graced by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Sandeep Kumar Mehta. He appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of such events in fostering national integration and patriotic spirit among the citizens.
SSP Doda said that Vande Mataram holds a special place in India's history as it inspired generations during the freedom movement. "Such programmes remind us of our rich cultural legacy and the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters" he emphasized. |
