CHANDIGARH, Nov 9: A awareness event about amputation prevention by Vascular Society of India (VSI) was successfully conducted in Chandigarh to promote vascular health and public awareness. The walk began from PGI Karoin Block and concluded at Sukhna Lake, covering approximately 5 km. The event was *flagged off by Professor L. Kaman, Head, Department of General Surgery, PGIMER, Chandigarh*. The walk saw enthusiastic participation from vascular surgeons Dr. Ajay Savlania, Dr Ravul Jindal, Dr Vishal Attri and Dr. Ankur Aggarwal, along with enthusiastic participants from PGI, Fortis Hospital, Chandigarh University and Ryat Bahra Institute along with with more than 500 participants from across the city. The event was graced by *Mr. Bhupinder Singh Babbal, the celebrated two-time IFA Award-winning singer, best known for his hit "Arjan Vailly" from the movie Animal*. He captivated the audience with his live performance and inspiring message on health and amputation prevention.
