| Radio Kashmir Jammu to broadcast special Dogri poll bulletins | | | Early Times Report

Taking a leap is feeding the listeners with updates of mega election event tomorrow, Radio Kashmir Jammu has decided to air five-minute Dogri bulletin besides special hourly broadcast in Hindi and English, an official spokesman here said.
Apart from its regular bulletins at 0920 hrs to 1230 hrs, evening Dogri and Gojri bulletin at 1700 hrs, the regional news unit of Radio Kashmir Jammu will broadcast special hourly bulletins on primary Channel and FM News Headlines and after every half-and-hour over the Yuv-Vani Channel on FM 100.3 Megahertz, an AIR spokesman told UNI.
However, the evening Dogri bulletins, which are daily broadcast at 1815 hrs will be broadcast at 1900 hrs tomorrow on primary channel, he added.
The five minute special election related bulletins in Dogri will be broadcast tomorrow at 1005 hrs, 1105 hrs, 1200 hrs, 1300 hrs, 16 hrs and 200 hrs. In addition to the above, news services division of All India Radio, New Delhi will also broadcast several special bulletins, two special bilingual (English and Hindi) programmes. The first special, live programme ''FAISLA AAPKA: CHUNAV-2009'' from 0830 hrs in the morning till 1700 in the evening would focus on trends, results, analysis and reactions. The other bilingual live phone-in programme ''AFTER YOUR VERDICT'' from 2130 hrs to 2230 hrs would focus on the emerging post-poll scenario. Experts in Delhi Studios will interact with correspondents and common people in this hour-long programme. For the first time, the National Live discussion programme will have hourly bulletins carrying both national as well as regional perspective, the spokesman added.
