| Jammu, Katra hotels announce 30 % discount for Amarnath yatris | | | Early Times Report

Hotels in Jammu and Katra have announced 30 per cent discount for Amarnath Yatris coming to state from June 7, an official spokesman today said.
''The presidents of Jammu and Katra Hotel Associations have announced 30 per cent discount for the yatris, besides serving ethnic Dogra food this time,'' the spokesman said.
He informed about a high level meeting of senior officers convened by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pawan Kotwal to review the arrangements by respective departments and agencies for the convenience of yatris.
The meeting was informed that registration for yatra would commence from May 20 in 110 Jammu and Kashmir Bank branches across the country.
In case of emergency, Disaster Management Plan has been framed wherein arrangements have been made at educational institutions and tented accommodations.
The stay of Sadhus has been arranged at schools and temples with proper amenities and 'langar' (free kitchen).
