JAMMU, Nov 11: Today, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa initiated three new lane and drain works and inaugurated the completion of one lane and drain at Malik Market Panchayat of Bahu Constituency. The works have been undertaken under the Rural Development Department (RDD) and aim to ensure better road connectivity and improved sanitation for the residents.
The event was attended by Surjeet Singh (Mandal President), Soudagar, Kamal Pathaniya, Sanjay Sharma, Mohd. Hussain, Nirmal Singh, Rafiq, Mohd. Iqbal, Paramjeet, Ramesh Choudhary, Tej Pal, and other local dignitaries, in the presence of officials from the RDD Department.
These projects have fulfilled a long-pending demand of the local people who had been facing severe inconvenience due to poor drainage and damaged lanes. Despite repeated requests in the past, no concrete action was taken, but today, with the efforts of MLA Vikram Randhawa, these long-awaited works have finally begun - bringing much-needed relief to the community.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vikram Randhawa said that these works will give a big relief to the people of Malik Market Panchayat, who were suffering for years due to poor infrastructure. He added that development of every nook and corner of Bahu Constituency is his mission and assured that more such projects will soon be started to uplift neglected areas. He further said that the BJP is fully committed to equitable growth and ensuring basic amenities reach every household.
