JAMMU, Nov 11: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday announced the winter timing schedule for all District Courts across Kashmir Division and the Union Territory of Ladakh, which will come into effect from December 1, 2025, and remain operational till March 31, 2026. According to Notification No. 3407 of 2025/RG/NG-03(1) issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma, the office hours in these courts will be 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., while the court sitting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a first session till 1:00 p.m. and second session from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..
The revised timing schedule shall remain in force during the winter season for courts functioning in both Kashmir Division and the UT of Ladakh, after which - from April 1, 2026 - the courts will revert to the timing prescribed under High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated May 22, 2020. (JNF) |
