Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 11: Himalya Sewa Sang, Jammu organized an Intensified IEC campaign for HIV/AIDS Awareness today at Govt.High School Bhatindi and Govt.High School Sunjwan in Collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir AIDS Control Society.A large number of students participated in the program. The theme of the Campaign was awareness generation about HIV AIDS, Voluntary Blood Donation and Drug de-addiction. The campaign was inaugurated by Ramesh Kumar, resource person. The resource person emphasized upon the Students to strictly follow the guidelines released by National AIDS Control Organization and Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society for the efficient prevention, Treatment and Control of HIVIAIDS. He advised the youth to refrain from the Drug abuse and injected drugs. The topology of High risk groups in the Communities was discussed in the Camp. The other Speakers in the Campaign stressed upon the youth to get involved in voluntary Blood donation. Those who attended the awareness compaign were Vicky, Parminder, Anish, Javaid, Reyaz, S.K Sharma, Nazir Sheikh, Sachin Kumar, Jatin, Rizwan, Rashpaul Sharma, Wahid, Raees Ahmad, Gagan Singh, Joginder Singh etc. |
