The event was presided over by SDPO East and attended by prominent members of the Trader Association, local market representatives, and other respectable citizens from the adjoining areas. During the Thana Diwas, a detailed interaction was held between police officers and participants to discuss a wide range of issues related to local security, traffic management, verification processes, nuisance by anti-social elements, and the strengthening of community policing measures. The participants freely shared their suggestions and concerns regarding public safety, and many practical inputs were received for improving police-public coordination. The SDPO East assured the participants that every genuine issue raised during the meeting will be taken up on priority and appropriate action will be initiated.
