Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 14: To commemorate Children's Day, on 14th November, 2025 Friday, the Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Jammu organized a joyful and educational excursion for its beneficiaries and their parents to Bagh-e-Bahu Park and the Fish Aquarium, Bawe, Jammu.
The event aimed at providing an enriching outdoor experience while strengthening family bonding and promoting environmental awareness among children. Upon arrival, the CRC Jammu team received a warm welcome from the staff of Bagh-e-Bahu. The visit began with a plantation drive, jointly conducted by the staff of Bagh-e-Bahu and CRC Jammu, reinforcing the message of environmental stewardship and community participation. Throughout the day, beneficiaries and their parents enjoyed the scenic beauty of the park, engaged in recreational activities, and explored the Fish Aquarium, which offered an exciting glimpse into aquatic life. The outing provided children with opportunities for sensory learning, social interaction, and experiential engagement beyond the classroom setting. The success of the picnic was made possible through the support of the Department of Floriculture and the Department of Fisheries, whose coordination ensured a smooth and memorable experience. CRC Jammu also extends heartfelt gratitude to the SSP, Department of Police, Jammu, for generously providing transport facilities for the participants. This event was organized under the guidance and encouragement of the Director, CRC Jammu, whose continued commitment to the welfare and holistic development of beneficiaries made the excursion possible. A total of 70 beneficiaries along with their parents and staff members of CRC Jammu were part of this excursion. Parents expressed deep appreciation for the Director's efforts in arranging such an experiential and enjoyable trip for their children. CRC Jammu remains dedicated to creating inclusive, engaging, and impactful opportunities for its beneficiaries and looks forward to organizing more such initiatives in the future.
