Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 14: The Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Udheywala, Jammu, conducted a Free Mega Orthopedic and Physiotherapy Camp on Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Held at the Medical Centre premises, the camp received an overwhelming response from individuals suffering from orthopedic, muscular, and mobility-related ailments. Patients experiencing problems associated with bones, joints, spine, muscles, and general movement difficulties turned up in large numbers to avail the free services. The camp offered comprehensive diagnostic support, medical counseling, and physiotherapy demonstrations for a wide range of conditions, including chronic back pain, arthritis, joint stiffness, fractures, and post-joint replacement care. Participants were provided physiotherapy guidance tailored to their specific problems and were also given complimentary access to therapeutic equipment such as a full body massage chair, leg massager, and laser therapy devices. These facilities enabled patients to experience immediate relief and understand ways to manage their conditions more effectively. A team of expert doctors led the initiative, ensuring high-quality consultation and care. The specialists included Dr. R. C. A detailed full body health check-up (fasting) was also made available, covering essential tests such as CBC, Lipid Profile, Urine Examination, TFT, LFT, KFT, and Vitamin D levels. Free diagnostic tests, including Bone Marrow Density, Uric Acid, and Blood Sugar examinations, were further extended to all patients attending the camp. A total of 202 patients benefited from the services provided by 13 dedicated doctors during the one-day camp.
