Jammu, Nov 19: In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening the internal functioning of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Hon’ble the Chief Justice has ordered fresh postings of eight Judicial Officers in the Registry, assigning them to key responsibilities across various branches of the institution. The postings follow the earlier High Court Order No. 1638 of 2025/RG dated 13.11.2025, which had placed the services of these officers at the disposal of the Chief Justice, and the latest directive finalizes their placements. As per the order issued by Registrar General M.K. Sharma, District Judge Naseer Ahmad Dar has been appointed as Director, J&K Judicial Academy; District Judge Ajay Kumar Gupta has been posted as Registrar Inspection, Srinagar; District Judge Faizan Ul Haq Iqbal has been posted as Registrar Rules; District Judge Ms. Swati Gupta has been appointed as Registrar Judicial, Jammu; and District Judge Umesh Sharma has been posted as Registrar Computers (IT). Among Civil Judges (Senior Division), Sunil Kumar has been posted as Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee; Touseef Ahmad Magrey has been appointed as Joint Registrar Inspection, Srinagar; and Faizan I Nazar has been posted as Sub Judge, LRP and shall additionally look after the work of CPC e-Courts.
