Jammu, Nov 19: CEO Jammu, Sh. Ajeet Sharma, conducted an extensive visit to High School Dhammi, Nagrota; Boys High School Kandoli, Nagrota; and Higher Secondary School, Nagrota on 20th November 2025, with a primary focus on reviewing the academic performance of the students along with assessing the infrastructural status of these institutions. During the inspection, the Headmaster of High School Nagrota was directed to strengthen the academic framework by improving the school timetable and ensuring meticulous preparation for the forthcoming Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), where academic outcomes will be the key area of discussion. The Headmistress of Boys High School Kandoli was instructed to explain the causes behind the poor maintenance of infrastructure and was reminded that weak physical conditions directly impact the learning environment and, consequently, academic achievement. The Principal of Higher Secondary School Nagrota was advised to place greater focus on literacy and numeracy levels, adopt remedial measures for low-performing students, and make judicious use of local funds to support academic enrichment activities. CEO Jammu stressed that improving academic performance must remain the top priority and directed all school heads to revisit their strategies. All concerned officers were instructed to revisit the schools and review the progress made on the academic and infrastructural parameters discussed during the inspection.
