| Students bring laurels to GDC Samba at Zonal Level “Display Your Talent” Event | | |

Jammu, Nov 19: Students of Shri Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Government Degree College, Samba, brought laurels to the institution by showcasing exceptional performances at the Zonal Level “Display Your Talent” competition held under Ravi Zone, organized by the University of Jammu.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various colleges, providing a vibrant platform for young talents to exhibit their creativity, confidence, and cultural excellence. Participants from GDC Samba excelled in multiple categories, Shipali Devi and Mehak Lalotra of Sem 3rd got 2nd and 3rd prize in Mehndi competition .1st prize in poster making competition was bagged by Diksha Bhagat of semester 3rd. In Debate 3rd prize was clinched by Ritika Sharma and Mansi Verma of semester 3rd jointly. Ritika Sharma of semester 3rd got 2ndprizeinElocution. Sheetal Devi of 1st semester won 3rd prize in painting.
In Group folk dance category 2nd prize and in Indian Group song category 3rd prize was clinched by students of GDC Samba .
Tapasvi Padwal of semester 3rd won 2nd prize and Sagarika Sharma of 1st semester got consolation prize in light vocal solo singing category. Consolation prize was clinched by Nandini Sharma of semester 3rd in Rangoli competition. Outstanding achievements of students not only highlighted their individual potential but also reflected the college’s continuous efforts in nurturing student talent through academic, cultural, and co-curricular encouragement.
Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol congratulated the winners for their commendable performance and applauded the efforts of convenors of cultural and literary committee for guiding students with commitment and passion. She emphasized that such achievements enhance the college’s prestige and inspire other students to participate actively in creative pursuits.
The college expressed pride in its students, whose success at the prestigious university-level platform once again reaffirmed GDC Samba’s commitment to fostering holistic growth and excellence.
