KISTHWAR, MAY 16: The workers of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by senior party leader Shakkir Siddiqui hold protest rally in fro not Dy Commissioners officer today and highlighted the genuine demands of the people.
Addressing the protestors, Siddiqui said, there is acute shortage of food grains in the district and the administration is sleeping over the matter and added that for the last four day no drinking water is supplied to the town. He said only one SRTC bus play on Bandarkote route there is demand to increase the number of buses. A memorandum was submitted to Dc by the workers. Among others who also spoke were Munshi Ghulam Hassan, Bashi Ahmad Qazi, Master Ghulam Mohd Ganie, Suresh Kumar, Ishtiaq Waza, Sajjad Hussain Dev, Ashok Kumar Sharma and Joginder Mahajan.
