Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 19: In a significant step towards enhancing ease of doing business, a delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jammu & Kashmir, led by its Chairman, Dr. MA Alim along with Mr. Ufair Ajaz, Convener of the CII J&K Skills Panel held a productive meeting today with the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Mr. Rakesh Minhas. A key outcome of the discussion was the positive resolution to make the mandatory labour verification process completely faceless and online. Mr. Rakesh Minhas, acknowledging the industry's concerns, agreed in principle to digitize the procedure. This move is set to eliminate unnecessary physical interfaces, reduce compliance burdens, and significantly expedite the verification process for businesses across Jammu. The meeting also served as a courtesy call, strengthening the collaborative partnership between CII J&K and the District Administration. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working closely on future initiatives aimed at bolstering industrial growth and employment generation in Jammu & Kashmir. |
