Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 19: Rotary Club Jammu City, in collabora?on with the Public Works (PWD) Department and the Transport Department of Jammu & Kashmir, organized an impac?ul Road Safety Awareness Program at Government College for Engineering and Technology (GCET), Kot Bhalwal, Jammu on 19th November 2025. The event was graced by Mrs. Anju Gupta, Addi?onal Commissioner Transport, J&K, who honoured the program as the Chief Guest. Sameru sharma Principal GCET, facilitated and provided support for the successful conduct of the event. The program commenced with a welcome address by Rtn. Rajesh Sharma the President, Rotary Club Jammu City, who highlighted the club's commitment to community welfare and safety ini?a?ves. Rtn. Arvind Kotwal Vice President Rotary along with Sh Sunil canni delivered an insigh?ul and detailed presenta?on on various road safety and shared technical perspec?ves to reinforce the importance of road discipline and preven?ve prac?ces. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Sh. Sanjiv Gupta, HOD, Civil Engineering GCET, who appreciated the Rotary Club and collabora?ng departments for their efforts to promote safer roads for the ci?zens. The presence of Mrs. Shwen?ka Sharma, Superintending Engineer, PWD J&K Jammu, added significance to the event, as she played an instrumental role in coordina?ng the program with Rotary Club and GCET Jammu.
