JAMMU, Nov 20: Army Public School Rakhmuthi celebrated its Annual Sports Day (2025–26) with spirited zeal under the theme “Viksit Bharat – Sapna Nahi Sankalp.” The Chairman, APS Rakhmuthi, and the First Lady graced the occasion as Chief Guests, adding honour and motivation.
The programme featured the Principal, Mrs. Shaswati Ghosh, presenting the Annual Report, followed by the Lighting of the Torch, synchronised March Past, and Oath Ceremony, reinforcing discipline and sportsmanship.
A vibrant Opening Dance by Classes I–III set the tone, followed by athletic highlights including 100 m, 200 m, and 400 m races. Junior categories showcased cheerful enthusiasm through the Duck Walk, Packing the School Bag, and Balloon Balancing Races. Yoga, Pyramid Formation, Gift Wrapping Race, and the Waves in Harmony Drill displayed balance, teamwork, and rhythmic precision.
Vidyanjali students from Government Primary School, Dhanger Kaleeth, participated in the Lemon-and-Spoon Race, symbolising inclusion. Supporting staff, teachers, and parents also joined various fun races, enhancing camaraderie. A dynamic Karate Demonstration and the high-spirited 4×100 m relays marked the athletic finale. |
