| Techno Solutions conducts Power BI Workshop at YCET Jammu | | |

Jammu, Nov 20: The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET), Jammu, in collaboration with Techno Solutions, successfully organized an intensive Hands-on Workshop on Power BI for the students of CSE Department.
The workshop aimed to strengthen students’ analytical skills and provide industry-oriented training in modern business intelligence tools.
The event began with a warm Welcome Address delivered by the Arudhrika of the CSE Department.
The speaker extended greetings to the invited guests Mr.Balbir Singh Director Tehno solution ,Mr.Rishant Kakapuri , and Mr.Bhargav Shridhar as resource persons, Er. Dinesh Gupta Dean Academics,HoDs , faculty members, and all participating students.
Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics, YCET as a gesture of respect, he presented a memento to the expert guests from Techno Solutions.
In his address, Er. Gupta motivated students to continuously upgrade their skills, embrace emerging technologies, and participate in such technical workshops that enhance employability and professional readiness.
The workshop began with Mr. Balbir singh ,Director techno solution. Mr Singh highlighted the growing importance of data analytics and business intelligence in the engineering and IT sectors, emphasizing how tools like Power BI are transforming decision-making in industries worldwide. The workshop focused on bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by offering hands-on experience in Power BI. The key learning areas included Data import and transformation,Real-time data visualization,Dashboard and report creation
Business intelligence workflows,Understanding datasets and analytical patterns,Power BI interface, tools, and customization techniques.
The entire session was practical in nature, enabling students to work directly with datasets and create dashboards in real time. This method enriched their analytical thinking, visualization abilities, and problem-solving skills.
After his session Mr Rishant Kakpuri and Mr.Bharghav Shridhar guided students through step-by-step dashboard creation, transforming raw data into meaningful insights.
His engaging teaching style made complex concepts easy to understand.
The workshop was honoured by the presence of Student Response & Outcomes. The students actively participated and expressed enthusiasm for the workshop. They shared that the session is Strengthened their foundation in data analytics,Improved their ability to design professional dashboards Enhanced their visualization and analytical skills Built their confidence in working with real-time datasets.they provide exposure to industry-relevant BI tools. Many students felt the session helped them understand industry expectations, especially for future careers in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Software Development, and Web Technologies.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the organizing faculty of the CSE Department. Appreciation was extended to Techno Solutions for conducting the workshop Mr. Balbeer Singh and Mr. Rishant Kakapuri for sharing their expertise |
