She emerged as the only participant from Jammu & Kashmir to secure podium positions at this prestigious national event, bringing great honour to the UT, the school, and her family. In a remarkable display of determination and sporting excellence, Saanvi won a Silver Medal in the 1000 m race and a Bronze Medal in the 500 m race, competing against the best young skaters from across the country. Her national success follows her outstanding performance at the CBSE North Zone-II Skating Championship, where she clinched 1st position in the 500 m race and 2nd position in the 1000 m race. The national championship saw participation from over 100 schools representing all regions of India, making her achievement truly exemplary. DPS Jammu also proudly acknowledges Viraaj Gandotra of Class VIII-B, who represented the school in the U-14 Boys (1000 m race) category, showcasing commendable grit and enthusiasm.
