| Release of 21st installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi another major step by Modi govt | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 20: The release of the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) is an important moment for crores of farmers across the country and once again reaffirms the Narendra Modi government's commitment to providing continuous financial assistance to farmers. This was stated by BJP spokesperson and former Vice Chairman Balbir Ram Rattan in a statement issued here today.
Balbir said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment of the PM-Kisan scheme yesterday during the inauguration of the South India Natural Farming Summit held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Under this installment, the Prime Minister approved an amount of over ?18,000 crore, which was transferred directly to the bank accounts of nearly 9 crore eligible farmers through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Each farmer received ?2,000 under this installment.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that the PM-Kisan scheme is one of the most effective initiatives to provide economic security and stability to the farmers of the country. Under this scheme, each eligible landholding farmer family receives financial assistance of ?6,000 per year in three equal installments, which helps support farmers in their investments, daily needs, and agricultural activities.
Balbir Ram Rattan also said that this time, the installment distribution programme was organized with the resolve to promote natural farming, which indicates that the central government is strengthening not only the economic well-being of farmers but also promoting a sustainable, chemical-free, and health-oriented agricultural model. Natural farming will become the foundation for a safe environment and better agricultural production for future generations.
Balbir said that due to the commitment and sensitivity of the Modi government, farmers today are becoming empowered and self-reliant. The continuous installments under the PM-Kisan scheme are playing a crucial role in stabilizing farmers' incomes and strengthening the rural economy.
He said that the release of the 21st installment is the result of the Modi government's farmer-friendly policies and sustained commitment, which clearly reflects the government's sensitivity and dedication toward farmers. |
