JAMMU, Nov 22: In yet another successful operation, a police team of Police Post Nehru Market, while on routine patrolling duty, effected the recovery of 18.35 grams of Heroin from a drug peddler in the Ware House area.
The team of PP Nehru Market was conducting patrolling in the Ware House area when a Naka was established near Tawi River Front Gate, Chunna Bhatti Road, Ware House and arrested a drug peddler Mohd Younas S/o Faizal Ahmed R/o Ganganagar near Convent School, Bantalab
A thorough search of the suspect led to the recovery of a transparent polythene packet containing Heroin-like substance weighing 18.35 grams.
In this regard, FIR No. 254/2025 under section 111BNS, 8/21/22 NDPS Act PS Gandhi Nagar stands registered. The investigation is in progress to ascertain the linkage of the accused with any broader supply chain or network of drug peddlers.
