Medical Block Ghat bids grand farewell to CMO Dr Om Kumar on his retirement

DODA, Nov 23: A grand and heartfelt farewell party was organized by the staff of Medical Block Ghat in honour of Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Om Kumar, on the occasion of his retirement after rendering 29 years of dedicated and exemplary service in the Health Department across various positions.
The farewell programme was held at the Conference Hall of the CMO Office, Doda, which was graced by Dy CMO Doda Dr. S. L. Manhas, District Health Officer Doda Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma, BMO Ghat Dr. Abdul Gafoor, Principal Govt. ANMT School Doda Smt. Vidya Kotwal, along with the staff of CMO Office, Dy CMO Office, ANMT School Doda and Medical Block Ghat, who participated with great enthusiasm.
The speakers, including BMO Ghat Dr. Abdul Gafoor, Mohd Saleem Banday, Dr. Hamid Parray, Dr. Nasir Masood Indrabi, Sh. Hoshyar Singh Rakhwal, and others, highlighted the remarkable journey, commitment, and contributions of CMO Dr. Om Kumar. They fondly recalled his 29 years of dedicated service and the professionalism he exhibited throughout his career.
CMO Doda Dr Om Kumar, also addressed the gathering and thanked the staff of Medical Block Ghat for organising a warm and memorable farewell in his honour. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all colleagues for their continuous support throughout his service career. He acknowledged the collective efforts of the department in improving healthcare delivery in the district and encouraged the staff to continue working with dedication, compassion, and sincerity. He also shared that the bonds created during his service will always remain close to his heart and wished the department greater success in the years ahead.
As a mark of respect and affection, different gifts were presented to him as tokens of love and appreciation.
The programme concluded with heartfelt wishes for his peaceful, healthy, and fulfilling retired life.
