Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 23: Jodhamal Public School celebrated its Junior School Annual Day on 23rd November 2025 with great splendour and enthusiasm, showcasing the theme 'The Treasure Chest - The Five Aspects.' The event unfolded as a beautiful tapestry of values, creativity, discipline and emotional growth, woven together through a series of thoughtfully designed performances by the students of the junior school. The Chief Guest for the event was Sunil Bhardwaj, Member of Legislative Assembly, Ramnagar (SC), Udhampur. Amit Sharma, IAS, Director, Census Operations for J&K and Ladakh as the Guest of Honour. Other special guests were Sunil Sharma, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in J&K Legislative Assembly and Dr. Piyush Singla (IAS), Commissioner Secretary, Information Technology Department. The celebration began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries followed by the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony symbolising the dispelling of darkness through knowledge. A melodious Orchestra performance by the talented students added charm to the beginning of the programme. The addresses by the Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala and dignitaries further elevated the spirit of the event, while a devotional Ganesh Vandana invoked blessings for an auspicious start. A special thematic segment of the programme was dedicated to expressing deep gratitude to the brave soldiers of the nation and the society at large. Through emotionally charged performances, students paid heartfelt tribute to the armed forces whose selfless service safeguards the country's peace and freedom. The presentation also highlighted the beauty of coexistence, compassion and collective responsibility within society. The young performers conveyed the message that every citizen-teachers, parents, workers, farmers, and frontline professionals-forms an integral part of the nation's strength. Their expressive choreography and narration reflected respect, unity and the spirit of universal harmony, leaving the audience deeply moved. The audience was then transported into the main theatrical presentation, 'The Treasure Chest - The Five Aspects,' staged in three captivating parts. Part I comprised the Five Elements Dance, Unknown Symphony and Blooming Bond, each performance symbolising harmony, creativity and human connection. After an enthralling beginning, the first round of Prize Distribution took place, where the Guest of Honour felicitated high achievers for their exceptional accomplishments. The Vice Principal, Amita Arora presented the Annual School Report, highlighting the institution's remarkable achievements in academics, co-curricular excellence, national-level sports participation, and the school's continued dedication to holistic development. Part II of the presentation included The Fitness Regalia, Vibe of Victory and The Mind Stream, portraying resilience, confidence and the power of thought. This segment was followed by Prize Distribution II, presided over by the chief guest, who congratulated the young achievers for their hard work. The final segment, Part III, featured The Nurturing Bond, Roots & Rhythm, The Invincible Squad and the Grand Finale. These performances highlighted values such as compassion, cultural identity, teamwork and the spirit of unbreakable determination-truly reflecting the essence of the theme 'The Treasure Chest.' A special 'Behind the Scenes' segment acknowledged the countless hours of practice and the collaborative effort of the creative team who helped bring the event to life. The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the student representative, expressing gratitude towards the dignitaries, parents, teachers and the entire school community for their support. The ceremony came to a close with the National Anthem. The entire event was meticulously planned, coordinated and executed under the able guidance of Ms. Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator, whose dedication and leadership played a pivotal role in making the Annual Day a grand success. |
