| Peerzada thanks people for reposing faith in UPA Govt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 17- Congratulating the people in reposing faith in the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) and the NC-Congress coalition government in the state in the just concluded Parliamentary elections, the Minister for School Education and Public Enterprises Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has said that the people have appreciated the developmental works executed in the State adding that the victory has been the outcome of pro-people policies of the government, which it will continue to pursue in future as well.
He said the victory of the Congress led UPA government at the centre is a victory of secular forces who stood like a rock behind the party all across the country. The credit for the Congress’s massive victory goes to AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi, PM Manmohan Singh and young and dynamic leader Rahul Gandhi.
