JAMMU, Nov 26: Government Degree College Majalta observed Constitution Day on 26 November 2025 with great zeal and respect for the constitutional ethos. The programme was organised within the college campus and witnessed active participation from faculty members, staff, and students.
The event began at 11:00 AM with a mass reading of the Preamble of the Constitution of India. The Preamble was read collectively in English and Hindi, allowing students to understand its meaning in both languages and reinforcing the importance of constitutional literacy.
The programme was conducted under the able guidance and support of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma. She appreciated the efforts of the organising team and emphasised the importance of nurturing the core constitutional values-Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity."
The programme concluded successfully with all participants reaffirming their commitment to uphold and promote the spirit of the Indian Constitution. |
