Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, accompanied by Shri Jonson Chandail, Divisional ASHA Coordinator Jammu, undertook an official visit to District Udhampur today to conduct an in-depth review of the implementation and progress of key health programmes. The review covered major verticals including Home Deliveries, NCD, Ayushman Bharat-HWCs, RBSK, RCH, Immunization, NTCP, NMHP, Scan & Share initiative, and other national flagship schemes. On arrival at the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, the dignitaries were formally received by Dr. Anil Manhas, Chief Medical Officer Udhampur, along with the district programme officers including the, DTO, DHO DIO and all BMOs. A formal welcome was extended with the presentation of a bouquet. The review meeting commenced in the Conference Hall, where the Chief Medical Officer presented a comprehensive, data-driven PowerPoint presentation covering: Status of Home Deliveries and strategies adopted to improve institutional deliveries. NCD screening coverage, follow-up status, ABHA IDs, treatment initiation and block-wise performance. Ayushman Bharat-HWC service delivery indicators, teleconsultation utilisation, wellness activities and HR status. RBSK screening and referral performance, DEIC functioning and achievements in early identification of defects and developmental delays. Immunization coverage, left-out/drop-out analysis, AEFI reporting and microplanning. Maternal and child health indicators, HRP tracking, JSY/JSSK implementation. Progress under TB, IDSP NVBDCP, NTCP, NMHP, and other vertical programmes. Performance under the Scan & Share initiative, including daily QR-based OPD scanning numbers, facility-wise compliance, digital registration improvements and targets for 100% implementation. Dr. Zargar conducted detailed deliberations on progress, data quality, manpower deployment, community-level outreach and block-wise gaps. He emphasized the need to: Strengthen monitoring and supervision at all levels. Improve timely reporting across all portals including NCD, RCH, RBSK and Immunization dashboards. Enhance ASHA engagement and ensure proper field documentation. Achieve full compliance under Scan & Share to promote digital health services and reduce manual workload. The meeting concluded with time-bound directives to address gaps, ensure measurable improvements before the next review and enhance coordination across all programme units. |
