RS PURA, Nov 26: GDC RS Pura proudly observed Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) on 26 November, marking the historic adoption of the Constitution of India. The event was organized to honor the vision of the framers of the Constitution and to inspire citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold constitutional values in everyday life. The programme commenced with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of Constitution Day.
A major highlight of the celebration was the collective reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, led by Ayush, a NCC cadet. Students, faculty members, and staff joined together in a unified voice, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour emphasized the importance of constitutional awareness, stating that understanding the Constitution is essential for strengthening democratic values and responsible citizenship.
The celebration concluded with a pledge to uphold the spirit of the Constitution and contribute towards building a just and inclusive society. |
