MANDI GOBINDGARH, Nov 26: A blood donation camp was organized at Sri Anandpur Sahib to commemorate the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, drawing a large number of volunteers and donors who came together to honour the Guru's legacy of sacrifice, courage, and service to humanity. The event witnessed active participation from students of the School of Nursing, Desh Bhagat University, under the guidance of PNRC Registrar Dr. Puneet Girdhar and in accordance with PNRC guidelines. A total of 48 nursing students from the university generously donated blood, while many others supported the medical teams by assisting with registration, screening procedures, and donor care. Their dedicated involvement added immense value to the initiative and highlighted their strong commitment to humanitarian service and professional ethics. The School of Nursing extended heartfelt gratitude to Honorable Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Principal Dr. Lovesampuranjot Kaur and Deputy Director Dr. Prabhjot Singh for encouraging and permitting student participation. Their support played a pivotal role in motivating the students to contribute meaningfully to this noble cause.
