| Samba police worked out cattle theft case within 24 hours; 4 accused arrested, 4 stolen cattle recogvered | | | Early Times Report SAMBA, Nov 26: Samba Police has successfully worked out a cattle theft case registered at Police Station Samba within 24 hours, arrested four accused and recovered four stolen cattle. On 25-11-2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba by a person namely Jagtar Singh S/o Bara Singh R/o Sordi, Pangdour district Samba regarding theft of four bovines from his house during the intervening night of 24/25-11-2025 by some unknown miscreants. Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 289/2025 U/S 331(4)/305(a) BNS was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started. Taking prompt action into the matter, SSP Samba constituted a special team headed by Incharge PP Rakh Amb Talli assisted by Incharge BPP Pangdour under the supervision of SHO PS Samba and DySP DAR Samba to work out the said theft case. During the course of investigation, Police team after sustained efforts alongwith technical assistance, arrested four accused persons involved in the said theft case from Bari Brahmana (district Samba), Bishnah and Domana area of district Jammu and recovered all the four stolen bovines from their possession. The arrested accused persons have been identified as 1. Mohammad Rakhman @Anu S/o Ibrahim R/o Kothey Sainian tehsil Bishnah district Jammu, 2. Ramjan Mohammad S/o Meenu R/o Dhraman tehsil Basholi district Kathua, A/P Raipur Domana district Jammu, 3. Abu Bilal S/o Mohammad Yusuf R/o Mathola Bhaderwah district Doda A/P Tanda Burj tehsil & district Samba and 4. Jhan Mohammad S/o Fathey Ali R/o Jhakhar Shivnagar tehsil & district Udhampur A/P Bari Brahmana district Samba. Further investigation of the case is going on. |
