Over 15,000 devotees pay obeisance at Shiv Parvati Cave Shrine Moungri

Udhampur, May17- More than 15, 000 devotees from within and outside the district paid their obeisance to Lord Shiva in Shiv Paravati Cave Shrine located at Sar Dabber during 3-day Moungri mela which concluded yesterday.
Traditional Kud Dance presented by Khem Raj and party of Bhamagh and cultural program by the school students got loud applause of the audience forcing the people to dance to their tunes with repeated cheers and prizes were distributed among the participants..
The sports activities organized by Youth Services and Sports Department in different age groups of Boys and Girls during mela days included, Kabaddi, Wrestling, Volley Ball, Tug of War provided a chance to students to expose their talent.
The District Administration had made adequate arrangements of security; transport, healthcare, sanitation, drinking water and power supply besides stalls were put up by various departments to educate the masses about State and centrally sponsored schemes.
