Pathankot, Nov 26: At World Peace Temple (Vishv Shanti Mandir) in Pathankot, Balbir Ram Rattan bowed before the great saint Guru Ravidass ji and sought his blessings. Balbir Ram Rattan, a follower of Guru Ravidass ji and deeply influenced by his philosophy of life, said that the teachings of Guru Ravidass are still a guiding light for humanity and the greatest force to unite society. He said that Guru Ravidas ji always gave the message of equality, brotherhood, love, mutual respect, and social justice. His words and thoughts are not limited to any one community or section, but are a beacon of light for the entire human society. Balbir Ram Rattan said that he is deeply inspired by these universal teachings of Guru Ravidass ji and will continue to try throughout his life to convey his messages to every community—regardless of caste, religion, class, language, or colour. Balbir Ram Rattan further said that in today’s times, social harmony and goodwill are needed more than ever. In such a situation, Guru Ravidasd ji’s teaching that “Mann changa to kathauti mein Ganga” shows us the path of self-purification, simplicity, and inner peace. He said that if society embraces the teachings of Guru Ravidass ji, discrimination and social divisions will automatically disappear, making it possible to build an egalitarian, peaceful, and progressive society. According to him, the effort to spread the principles of saints and sages in society is itself a virtuous act, and it also guides the younger generation in the right direction. Balbir Ram Rattan reiterated his resolve that he will continue to work with every section of society to carry forward Guru Ravidasd ji’s principles and ideals of service to humanity. |
