| Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu felicitate Puri, Zahoor | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 17: Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu honoured two prominent personalities of the state namely Padm Bushan, Balraj Puri and Dr. Zahoor-ud-Din for their excellence in their respective fields.
Addressing the gathering secretary Anjuman, Balraj Bakshi said both of them always shared a common bond of unflinching love and affection for Urdu language and literature. On the occasion Sheikh Sajjad Poonchi and Dr. Sayeeda Kikhat Nazar presented paper on the lives and woks of the celebries. Among other present on the occasion were Ved Bhasin, Prof Assad-Ullah Wani, Naseem Khan, Savita Bakshi and Ajay Sharma.
Earlier the function was presided over by S.S. Anand Lahar, president of the Anjuman.
