Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 27: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) today successfully conducted its flagship outreach initiative, Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, at Aegious Polyfilms Pvt. Ltd. Logate, Kathua. The event, led by Regional P.F. Commissioner-I, Sh. Sumeet Singh , aimed to extensively educate stakeholders on various EPFO services, schemes, and recent initiatives. Enforcement Officer Sh. Devinder Singh, accompanied with the team as District Nodal Officer, aimed to educate employers, employees, and other stakeholders about various EPFO schemes. EPFO Jammu apprised the participants of the key Government initiatives aimed at strengthening social security and labour welfare across the country. It was informed that the Government has launched the Employees' Enrolment Campaign 2025 to expand social security coverage for workers. The Scheme will remain operational from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026, providing establishments with an opportunity to enrol eligible employees and regularise past records with ease. Participants were also briefed on the Government's decision to implement the Four Labour Codes, which seek to simplify and consolidate existing labour laws. The Labour Codes are expected to bring transformative reforms by ensuring improved wages, enhanced workplace safety, robust social security, and overall welfare of India's workforce in line with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Further, EPFO highlighted the objectives of the Prayaas Yojana, an initiative designed to ensure the timely release of employees' PF and pension benefits on the day of their superannuation, thereby providing a seamless and dignified transition into retirement. In the event Nidhi Aapke Nikat Aegious Polyfilms Pvt Ltd Logate, Kathua, registered on spot for PMVBRY. The programme centered around outlining the objectives, key benefits, and implementation strategy of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and improving member services with special emphasis on processes such as Joint Declaration, KYC Updation, UAN Updation and bank account details. More than 275 establishments have already registered in PMVBRY in Jammu. Key representatives in the event was Sh. Rohit Mishra, AGM HR, Sh. Vikash Sharma, Deputy Manager HR, Sh. Sanjay Kumar Jha COO, were present in the program. Additionally, queries from employees, employers, and company representatives were addressed by the District Nodal Officer. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various sectors, reinforcing awareness and implementation of PMVBRY and EPFO schemes in Jammu Division. |
