| Governor felicitates J&K youth selected for IAS, IPS | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, May18- While felicitating four youth, who have been selected for the coveted Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from Jammu and Kashmir this year, the Governor, N. N. Vohra, has called upon the youth of the state to work hard and compete for selection in the various national level civil, police, forest, diplomatic, medical, engineering and other services. The Governor was interacting here today with the four youth of the State who have been selected for the coveted All India Services from Jammu and Kashmir this year. Those selected include Dr. Raghav Langer, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal and Imtiaz Ismail Parray. While Dr. Langer, Dr. Iqbal and Dr. Jarangal have made it to the IAS, Parray has been selected for IPS. The Governor felicitated the future administrators from Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that many other boys and girls from the State would get inspiration from them and compete successfully for the All India Services in the coming years. He said that the youth of the State are intelligent and talented and can achieve successes with proper guidance and hard work. The Governor, who had invited Dr. Langer, Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Jarangal and Parray to have tea with him, at Raj Bhavan, wished them a most successful career in the Civil Services. Principal Secretary to Governor, B. B. Vyas, and other officers of Raj Bhavan were also present on the occasion.
