REASI, Dec 5: In a major breakthrough, District Police Reasi has successfully traced a woman who had been missing for the last 13 years, bringing closure to a long-pending case.
A missing report of Sushma Devi D/O Rattan Singh R/O Purana Daroor, A/P Shiva Gehlot, Doda was lodged at Police Post Ban Ganga vide DDR No. 07 dated 01.06.2012. After persistent efforts and follow-up, the missing lady has finally been located.
Following her recovery and completion of all legal formalities, Sushma Devi was safely reunited with her family and handed over to her mother, Smt. Vaishno Devi W/O Rattan Singh.
The entire operation was carried out by I/C PP Ban Ganga PSI Rahul Jamwal and SHO P/S Katra Insp. Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the close supervision of SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishm Dubey, JKPS and SP Katra Vipan Chandran, JKPSA.
SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh, JKPS reiterates that District Police Reasi remains committed to tracing missing persons and ensuring their safe return to their families, regardless of how old the case may be. |
