| Village ‘Hakoona’ lack drinking water facilities | | |

Doda, May 18: Inhabitants of village ‘Hakoona’ Prem Nagar of tehsil Tathri having a population of more than 500 souls belonging to schedule caste are facing acute shortage of water due to drought. President Tehsil Thathri Development Front Kuldeep Kumar Rao in a meeting said that the authorities were several times approached about the problems but till date noting substantial has materialized as a such villagers are suffering and get deprived of very basic need for the sustenance of life. He once again appealed the authorities to take immediate necessary steps for provision of water to the villagers.
The meeting among other was attended by O.R. Bhall, Kanwarjeet Singh, Bihari Lal, Pooran Chand etc.
