Majalta, Dec 10: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Majalta successfully organized a Poster Making Competition on the theme “HIV/AIDS Awareness.” The event was held under the convener-ship of Dr. Dalip Kumar and the esteemed guidance of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma. A total of 10 students enthusiastically participated in the competition, creatively expressing their ideas on the importance of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS, prevention measures, and removing societal stigma. The posters reflected both artistic talent and a strong understanding of the issue. The posters were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges comprising Dr. Chander Mohan, Prof. Naresh Kumar, and Dr. Suresh Singh, who appreciated the efforts and originality of all participants. After thorough assessment, the winners were announced as follows: 1st Position: Kanchan Devi 2nd Position: Meenakshi Thakur 3rd Position: Anjali Devi Addressing the students, Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma highlighted the significance of HIV/AIDS awareness and stressed how participation in such activities helps students build confidence, enhance creativity, and develop a sense of social responsibility. She encouraged students to continue engaging in awareness programs that contribute to community welfare. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to all participants and winners. The event concluded with the distribution of refreshments.
