Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province today thanked the people of Jammu province for making the NC-Congress candidates victorious in the Parliamentary elections. Addressing a meeting of party workers, Gupta expressed gratitude to the people for reposing faith in the NC-Congress alliances in the state, Gupta said that landslide victory of coalition in the state is a clear verdict of people against the politics of communalism and double speak. He said people of Jammu province deserve every appreciation for rejecting the communal forces.
“The landslide victory of the NC-Congress coalition is the victory of the people of the state and it is a good omen for peace, development and prosperity of the state”, he said.
Lauding the role of the youth of the state who reposed faith in the young and dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah and voted in favour of NC-Congress coalition, Gupta hoped that the state government under the dynamic stewardship of Mr. Omar Abdullah will take effective steps to redress the genuine issues of the youth of the state.
He called upon the party rank and file to fan in their respective areas and start mass contact programme and reach at every doorsteps with the programme and policies of the party.
