Security forces on Tuesday foiled a major tragedy as they recovered a landmine along the Indo-Pak border in Samba district, 57 kms from here, police said.
Police said that the landmine was found by a farmer, Sagar Ram, in his fields at Regal Border out Post near the Indo-Pak border who then informed the security forces.
The team of experts was ruched to the spot who later recovered and defused the said device.
