JAMMU, Dec 11: Anurag Mishra, General Manager (Architect & Planning), Airports Authority of India, visited Jammu Airport today to conduct an inspection as per the directions of the Minister of Civil Aviation.
During the visit, he reviewed key passenger facilitation areas including congestion management, availability of airline and airport manpower, functioning of helpdesks, housekeeping, sanitation, baggage delivery systems, and grievance-handling mechanisms. Special focus was placed on ensuring smooth support for senior citizens, children, pregnant women, and passengers requiring special assistance.
Mishra interacted with AAI officials, airlines, and CISF to assess the measures implemented recently. He expressed satisfaction that airport operations have already been stabilized.
Devender Yadav, Airport Director, briefed the visiting officer on the steps taken to streamline operations and assured continued monitoring and adherence to all guidelines issued by AAI Headquarters. |
