Early Times Report NEW DELHI, Dec 13: Amit Sharma, IAS, Director Census Operations (DCO) & Director Citizen Registration (DCR), Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, gave a CLT Formula for an accelerated economic growth of Bharat during PHDCCI States' Policy 2025 Conclave held at Le Meridian Hotel in New Delhi. After the lighting of traditional lamp, DCO/DCR, Government of India, MHA for J&K and Ladakh Amit Sharma was invited to give a keynote address as a Special Guest in the Inaugural Session of PHDCCI Conclave to share his perspectives about making India a developed economy with fast track growth and development approach. Amit Sharma, during his address, talked about CLT formula which he elaborated as Census, Lithium and Technology, to ensure holistic contribution towards accelerating the rate of economic growth in the nation over next couple of years. DCO/DCR J&K and Ladakh Amit Sharma elaborated 'C' in the form of historical upcoming Digital Census 2026-27, which shall become the lifeline of economic growth and shall be the maiden paperless digital Census to be conducted all across the nation. This Census shall give most reliable, accurate and definitive results for pacing-up the growth and development, policy-making, through its multiplicity of ramifications in each and every sector of the economy. The second word 'L' was mentioned as Lithium by Amit Sharma, the reserves of which were recently discovered in the foothills of Mata Vaishno Devi ji Shrine in Reasi district of J&K UT, for which a dedicated 'India Lithium Mission' is the need of the hour, as India can become a true global leader through the extraction of this critical mineral, which is used in our mobile phone batteries. Electric Vehicle batteries, pacemakers and many other essential goods and services. The third word 'T' as a part of his formula as mentioned by Amit is Technology, which he termed as the basis of all reforms. The best part is that India has already proven its dominance and class in Information Technology domain through UPI, DBT, AADHAAR, BHASHINI, etc and even produced global corporates haunches leading Microsoft, Google and many such top global IT Giants, who are contributing immensely towards shaping-up the global economy. |
