SAMBA, Dec 13: Continuing its drive against illegal mining in successive day, Samba Police has seized seven more dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, Incharge Police Post Supwal of PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-0372, JK21J-6799, JK02BF-1931, JK21F-5586, JK21G-7799, JK21D-9880, JK02AT-6267 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area. The above-mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
