Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 15: MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today formally inaugurated the much-awaited pipeline work in Sector-4, Channi Himmat, aimed at strengthening the drinking water supply network and providing permanent relief to the residents of the area. The initiative reflects the continued focus on improving basic civic amenities in the Bahu Constituency. The work was started in the presence of District General Secretary Kulveer Charak, local dignitaries, senior party workers, and residents of Channi Himmat. Officials from the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department, including AEE Vishal Pandita and his team, were also present and briefed the gathering about the technical aspects, scope, and timely completion of the project. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa stated that ensuring uninterrupted and adequate drinking water supply is a top priority. He emphasized that development works are being taken up in a planned, transparent, and time-bound manner, and no area of the constituency will be left behind. He further directed the PHE officials to maintain quality standards so that the public does not face water-related issues in the future. Local residents welcomed the initiative and thanked the MLA for addressing their long-pending demand. They expressed confidence that the pipeline work will significantly improve the water supply situation and help overcome the chronic scarcity of drinking water in Sector-4, Channi Himmat. |
