| Samba police arrests drug peddler with 11.6 grms heroine | | |

Samba, Dec 16: December 16, 2025: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered approximately 11.06 grams heroin like substance from his possession.
A Police team of Police Station Vijaypur during a special naka near Shiv Nagar Vijaypur, intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK21E-0833 for its checking which was coming from Rakh Barotian side. During frisking, approximately 11.06 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from the possession of motorcyclist.
The drug peddler identified as Sheetal Kumar S/o Madan Lal R/o Kala Gate, Bari Brahmana district Samba has been arrested and the contraband item has been seized. The motorcycle has also been seized in the instant case.
A case FIR No 142/2025 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started.
