| Bhatti urges Div. Com make city roads free from encroachment | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, MAY 19: Senior National Conference leader and president National Sikh Front S. Kulwant Singh Bhatti appreciated the initiative taken by division commissioner for making national highway and other city roads encroachment free and measures to ensure free How of traffic on these roads.
In a statement issued here today Bhatti said that in view of Amarnath yatra stating from June 7th and other tourist activities in the state. Main entry points of Jammu city must be beautificated. He said that maximum tourists and Shri Amarnath Yatra preferred vehicular travel thus the roads connecting Jammu city must be beautified and properly maintained and street lights should be installed to minimize the thereat of accident on these roads.
Bhatti further appealed Divisional Commissioner to take personnel interests to start the work on Kunjwani Satwari patch which is lingring for the last several years.
