Early Times Report DODA, Dec 16: Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh today chaired a comprehensive meeting at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex to review and finalize district-level Media Plan for Government of India's National Campaign "PRASHASAN GAON KI ORE (PGKO) 2025." The meeting was attended by ADDC, ADC, ACD, CPO, ACP, Joint Director Education, ASP Headquarters, Dy SP Traffic, besides district officers and officials from various government departments, both in physical and virtual modes. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized effective dissemination of information, extensive media coverage and maximum public outreach to highlight government initiatives, flagship schemes and citizen-centric service delivery. He directed the departments to ensure timely sharing of authentic information, photographs, success stories and impact-based content across print, electronic and social media platforms, while maintaining uniformity in messaging as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The DC informed that the District Administration Doda has already commenced activities under the "PRASHASAN GAON KI ORE" campaign, which will formally begin on December 19 and culminate on December 25. He directed officers to organize small district-level grievance redressal camps in their respective offices for prompt disposal of public grievances and improved service delivery. He also informed that a Monitoring and Control Cell has been set up in the DC Office to track the status of grievance redressal on a real-time basis. Further, the Deputy Commissioner directed to organize awareness and facilitation camps for various government-sponsored schemes, including the newly launched pension scheme for unorganised workers. He stressed ensuring registration of all eligible beneficiaries under financial stability and social security schemes. |
