| Government never ceases to exist: SC | | | AGENCIES New Delhi | May 19 : ''The government never ceases to exist,'' the Supreme Court reminded Additional Solicitor General Amarinder Saran who refused the accept notice on behalf of the union government on the grounds that the government was going to resign. Justice Markandey Katju who was presiding the vacation bench, told Saran that in several countries the king never dies and quoted a french saying, ''le roi est mort, vive le roi !(the King is dead, long live the King.!) Mr Saran assured the bench that he will convey the court's view to the central agency which deals with all union government matters. The other judge on the bench was Justice Deepak Verma
